DJ Mysterious's background in drum and bass started by just listening to mixtapes back in the 1990's.
Going back as far as A.W.O.L. days of DJ's like Mickey Finn, Kenny Ken and
DR S Gachet etc. He got hooked on the music after being showed these mixtapes from a friend called Al. DJ Mysterious regularly went to raves and recalls getting his first pair of decks in 2001. He started mixing on nothing more then a pair of Sony decks, but we all start from somewhere! He quickly got to grips with the art of mixing and took to this like a fish in water.
Now one of the most prolific mixers in his local area with heart crushing double drops on demand to the vibration of the speakers and cheers from the crowds.
In 2003 he was introduced to Mc Scoop who was making tracks with DJ Rico. Scoop remembers telling Rico you got to hear this dude mix, so not long after Rico was introduced and was impressed with what he heard, they decided to take DJ Mysterious aboard as a full member of Dangerous New Age.
Now the label has officially been signed, it has gave Mysterious great motivation and drive to do well within the new label and the same for all of the guys involved.
