About Me

I've been living in NYC since 1988. I'm one of the founding members of Winter Hours. I was also one of the primary songwriters ("Hyacinth Girl/Ten Minutes/Island of Jewels") as well as the band's lead guitarist until the band dissolved in early '92. Since then, I've helped raise my 12 year old daughter and maintain a record store in the heart of Greenwich Village which after 16 years I've decided to close the store to pursue a new adventure as yet to be revealed to me, I'm sure the Universe has something bigger in store for me. After a 12 year hiatus from the music business I've started writing, playing and recording again with three of indie music's finest players. They are: Glenn Mercer - Lead Guitarist & Vocalist of the Feelies, Stanley Demeski - Drummer extraordinaire of Feelies and Luna fame and Rob Norris - Bassist of the Bongos and Producer of the first two Winter Hours EP's "Churches" and "Wait Till The Morning". The group is called East Of Venus and the music is a lot like what you might expect if you're familiar with the history of each member. At the moment we're rehearsing and in the process of mixing first LP. You can hear a few of the tracks at our MySpace page by clicking on East Of Venus .
