Born in the Bronx, NY, her musical background comes from her father singing, writing and producing songs for as long as she can remember. Salasia have performed and recorded with Bishop Eric Mcdaniel, Pastor Raye Brown and she also has acting under her belt. Recently starring in "Tambourines to Glory" written by Langston Hughes as Lead Actress "Essie Belle Johnson".Influenced by the sounds of artists such as Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston, Milira, Anita Baker just to name a few. Salasia is a Singer, writer, actress and poet. Her greatest joy comes from putting a smile on people’s face with one of her many gifts that God has blessed her with. Salasia is looking for forward to sharing her talents with the world.
