Straight Down from the Bridge

We land at a five-point intersection of cabaret, world, folk, jazz, and classical music. We met in music school (Go Blue) and have been working together ever since. Here's a little info about our experience.................................................. ..............................Straight Down from the Bridge has played in spaces ranging from prestigious concert venues such as Jordan Hall in Boston to rock clubs like Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn, and from urban gallery environments like the Tenri Institute in Greenwich Village or the MFA Downtown Austin to the ambient and reverberant Holy Trinity Chapel in Ann Arbor, MI. Straight Down from the Bridge has collaborated with a number of acclaimed ensembles including NYC's NOW Ensemble, Boston's Firebird Ensemble, and the University of Michigan's praised Big-Band Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Ellen Rowe.
