About Me

Tim Mendonsa (playing under the name Van Buren--a nickname from an old friend) has had his hands full lately. Since moving to Seattle three years ago, he has slowly been getting his feet wet in the Seattle music scene and loving every minute of it. His projects are many and diverse, from his role as singer/guitarist/keyboardist/co-songwriter in the anticipated rock band Sad Face, to playing bass/keyboards/vocals in the eclectic Elise in Furs, and even playing an integral role as co-producer/co-songwriter/musician for the studio-only band Acoustic Disturbance's fourth album "Firstnighter." This music page will showcase some of those different projects he's been working on, to the occaisonal freelance soundtrack work he's done for student film makers, and also update you as to the news and progress of his many bands/projects.
