Born in Brooklyn New York and raised both there and Boston,MASS , Jeffery Cadet displayed a love for Hip Hop at an early age, vibing to the likes of RUN DMC, KOOL G RAP, MC LYTE AND PUBLIC ENEMY. ‘Firstborn’ MC’s RAKIM & SLICK RICK inspired him more than anyone with their ability to move the crowd and tell a story. Jeff soon began to pen lyrics of his own, frequenting the popular ‘battle rap’ street corners of New York City in the mid 90's, learning more with every visit.Upon relocating to Palm Beach, Florida in 1999, he linked up with the group Alliycat Crime Unit and began recording for the first time. It was in this environment that ‘Jeffery Cadet’ evolved to become NuClasix. The group later disbanded, but he gained great experience from that situation.Rarely does a performer embody all of the key traits which separate the average rapper from a real emcee. But when it comes to talent, drive, lyrical prowess, masterful delivery, and true ‘star power’, NuClasix encompasses every one.Hip Hop to Nu is more than just radio spins.
Respect for the game is at the heart of each word he spits.
His uniqueness is apparent in that he brings his rhymes to life so cleverly that the listener empathizes with every character, visualizes each story and feels every emotion.
Nu’s East coast roots are evident when one hears his flow, but there is no denying the West coast and Southern styles he effortlessly incorporates as well.These skills have enabled NuClasix to participate in numerous talent shows from Suncoast High School to Florida Atlantic University, including the RED BULL & FOOTACTION MC BATTLE, as well as the ‘MAKING THE BAND’ competition, held by P Diddy.While creating a demo at a Florida studio, NuClasix was discovered by Luckson Lucce of D-Lucks Entertainment. This chance meeting resulted in a business relationship, eventually leading to NuClasix signing a recording contract in February 2005
with independent label Cru-Cuttaz Entertainment.NuClasix is currently working on his debut album, to be released early in 2008 by Cru-Cuttaz Entertainment.
