About Me

The Rooks Car Club is based out of the Seattle area. We are a pre '65 club that's into hot rods, customs, classics, lowriders and more.Every event that the Rooks puts on always has been and always will be for a local charity of our choice. We believe in helping out our community as best as we can.We are a group of regular old working class guys and gals who like to spend our free time building, looking at, and talking about cars.Every Father's day we put on a Blessing of the cars at Carkeek Park in the Crown Hill area of North Seattle. Please come down either with or with out an old car.Our yearly toys for Tots drive will be at the Fun House again this year on December 15th.

Anyone who is into old cars, hot rods, customs, lowriders, punk rock, rockabilly, psychobilly, rock 'n' roll, beer, whiskey, and having a good old time.

Music:

rock 'n' roll, punk, psychobilly, honky tonk, rockabilly, and stuff that doesn't suck.

Books:

hot rod magazines, Chilton's, Haynes, Clymer's.

Heroes:

Gene Winfield, Bo Huff, Kenneth Howard aka Von Dutch, Big Daddy Ed Roth, George Barris, Daryl Starbird, Bill Hines, and the many other customizers that have lead the way for us.We especially appreciate the folks out there that come home after a long day of workin' for the man and head straight for the garage and wield wrenches and a torch so that we have something new and exiting to see at the next car show.
