Born in the 80's in Parkersburg WV, Deezy's early life shaped what would be the norm for him. Growing up on the corner of Dewey & 16th, Deezy constantly fought other kids from the neighborhood to gain respect. "They needed to know I wasn't a bitch", says Deezy about the early incidents. "I didn't want anyone thinking they was gonna boss me around, so I showed them who the boss was." It was his violent demeanor and harsh outbursts that led to him being expelled from Madison, Franklin, Lincoln, and Hamilton. It was around this time that the Sheriff, fed up with Deezy's antics but never having evidence to charge him with anything asked that Deezy leave Wood County, which led to his relocation to Columbus, OH...
It was in Columbus that Deezy's criminal ways began to meet and exceed his violent ways, and within weeks of moving to Columbus, he was placed on probation. After spending 2 1/2 months on 23 hour lockdown for a weapons charge (which he was later cleared of), Deezy began experimenting with rapping, and eventually being let off of probation 3 years, 2,836 community service hours, 54 probation violations, and $14,000 in fines later, he returned to his home city...
Upon returning to Parkersburg, Deezy met the next hardest resident of the city, Trigger Nick, and together they formed the group Dark Side Gangstas. Around this time is when Deezy began producing beats, and began working on the makings of his first album. Things were cut short when Deezy was forced to move again, this time to the south... High Point, North Carolina.
After moving to NC, Deezy quickly built a reputation for his violent behavior, becoming a common name with the police department's records. In June of 2007 shortly after turning 21, Deezy's house was raided for narcotics. While finding no narcotics (See: 10 Crack Commandments) in the household, the police did however find a grenade in Deezy's bedroom, leading to an arrest and conviction for violation of NC General Statute 14-288.8; Possession Of A Weapon Of Mass Destruction, which lead to Deezy's upcoming debut album being named W.M.D.
When asked on his thoughts of a 16-49 month suspended sentence, 2 1/2 years probation, 90 days of house arrest, and $2,135.50 in fines, Deezy said "I'd rather deal with this than be labelled a snitch. Nobody can ever call me a fucking rat. Fuck that DA and fuck that judge, but the hood still has love for me. If you rat, you can't come back to the hood. That shit gets out, you get indicted and then your case disappears, people hear about it. Someone snitched on me, that's bitch made..."
On top of rap, Deezy is also working on his clothing label UGCE - Utterly Gutter Clothing Empire - Be on the lookout for the label to drop soon...
