I dream of one day working in a gas station with no customers. I've thought about it for a while, and have decided that it's time I actually set some goals. I've never been a very goal-oriented person and have been sort of walking in a maze for most of my life.I'm not ready to actually start working towards my goals, per se, but ready to start establishing them. Here are some: 1) As previously mentioned, working in a gas station with no customers. There would be a treadmill and exercise bike, flat screen TV, and personal chef available to me all day at work. Possibly a jacuzzi, but not sure about that one. 2) Retiring at the age of 45. This may mean retiring from my current job and enjoying life as a gas station employee, or retiring from my job as a gas station employee. I'll figure out the details at a later date. 3) Traveling to more foreign countries so that my percentage of countries visited will be higher than 5 or 6% or whatever it is now. 4) Starting to read again, because I used to really enjoy it. 5) Learning how to effectively train dogs to be obedient, not attack each other or me, and how to do funny tricks. 6) Having a room full of cushions, and no one is allowed inside it unless they are wearing clean socks and comfortable clothes. The lighting will be dim, the music will be comforting, and there may even be a nice little theater in this room, so I can lay around and watch all the Harry Potter movies. 7) Someday, I'd like to have a nice kitchen big enough to fit a dishwasher, so that I can cook. I'd even like to have a table that seats more than two, so that I can invite people over to eat dinner, and hopefully it will be good. 8) I wouldn't mind learning massage therapy. It seems necessary, since both my sisters are massage therapists. We all have curly hair, are vegetarians, are too nice to people to the point we get walked all over, have twisted senses of humor that annoy and offend others, and enjoy humiliating ourselves and each other. I am also the oldest and therefore superior to them. I don't much appreciate that they have a skill I don't possess. 9)Create short term goals and stick to them, such as: make every effort possible to get over my back injury, find exercises I can actually do that won't cause me more pain, spend more time with my doggies and help make them happy little corgis, eat my five a day and drink my eight a day, and finally, stop blowing so much money on diet coke.Layout made by fairytraceyI love to travel but don't have the money or time to go where I want when I want.
