And Melle Mel for paving the way for hip hop and rap music. Last but not least, Russell Simmons, the godfather of hip hop, Berry Gordy and Quincy Jones, for paving the way for artists such as myself and other artists. And my biggest influence are my fans who support, my family, children, loved ones and friends. Oh and to my foes and anyone who I made become an enemy and to those that want to see me fall I do this for the haters too.I pray for you all.The greatest revenge is success.GOD BLESS.
Sounds Like: I sound like the truth. And I write what I feel and what I live. And it's real. And for my fans who support me, to not take rap music as a form of negativity. It is just entertainment. Never believe what you see on TV. It's all hype. I sound like the best new artist, so please listen to my Rock Band. Owww-

Shoutmouth Spotlight: Manchild
Posted by: certifiedmatt on June 20, 2007 1:13:30 PM
Welcome to Shoutmouth Spotlight, a new-ish feature where we'll be focusing on artists who are grinding their way up in the world. Hopefully we'll be able to turn you onto some new names while also taking a look at what, exactly, it takes to make it in the often-insane game that is the contemporary American music industry. In the immortal words of Jay-Z, "you can't knock the hustle."Today's Shoutmouth Spotlight focuses on Manchild, an unsigned rapper from New York.
Raised in the Bronx, Manchild has taken an interesting angle at getting his break: he sells his own albums on the streets of Manhattan. If you've ever tried to enter any of the city's Virgin Megastores at rush hour, you're probably already a little familiar with this move.We spoke with Manchild about why persistence pays off, learning the music industry literally from the ground up and how he's going to save hip hop.
