About Me

Theodosia Tsatsou was born and raised in Melburne Australia. She studied music , theater and Dance at the the Melburne School of Arts. In her youth while taking classical piano lessons as well as being in different theatrical troupes at school, she realised her interests in Rock music. She was 20 years old when she moved to Greece following her Greek parents there , in Thessaloniki. Theodosia studied theater at the Kratiko Theatro Voreiou Ellados, as well as English literature. In 1996 she met with Giorgos Papapostolou and she formed with him the Greek rock group Ble. Their album "Enohes" became an instant smash with many successful hits. Later the left the group and in 1999 she released her solo album "Ypoptos Kosmos" ("Suspicious World"), and emotional and dark at times album with many musical influences ranging from Rock to Pop to Hip Hop. She did a few appearances in Athens Greece as well as Thesaloniki, and the rest of Greece. She collaborated with the band Pix Lax with the songs "Mono Gia Keini Min Mou Milas" ("Don't Talk to me only about her") and "Sto Aima Mou Alazei O Kairos" ("In my blood the weather changes"). She appeared with them for two nights at Lykavitos theater in Athens. Mode Plagal III is also another compilation where she appeared, singing a traditional Greek song "Ta Paidia Tis Geitonias Sou" ("The Children of Your Street"), in her own unique way, and she also appeared in the Greek band's Maskes CD for the song "Ayan Gran". In the Summer of 2002 she released the stunning album "Kokkino" ("Red"). This album is the most diverce album of her career, with songs ranging from Techno meditative numbers such as "Let The Music" which features an Indian Mantra in it, or "Veludo Sex & Strass" with it's hypnotic electronic beats, to sweet Summer loving hits ("Sti Thalasa" i.e. "At The Beach") to the modern alterna-rock mumbers of the rest of the album. Theodosia has definitely earned her high place in Greece's modern music scene. In the winter of 2006 she released her latest album "Sti leoforo tis Evas" (Eve's Avenue). This album embraces yet again, a new approach in her sound. Theodosia has co-composed and co-produced it and wrote the lyrics. Her first video-clip from the album is named "Pios ise esy pou me kitas".order the album
