Edgar Prais

About Me

Far from being innovative trailblazers, Edgar Prais take a decidedly traditional approach to song writing. They possess a melodic disposition that leans toward the timeless sounds of Holland-Dozier-Holland, informed by the yarn spinning qualities affiliated with folk music.

After nearly two years of performing as a three-piece, Edgar Prais have added two more versatile musicians to their set-up to fully realise the depth of their songs in a live environment. Adam Keenan and Claire Singer are long-time cohorts of Kristoffer, Steven and Christy's, and have slotted seamlessly into the mix. Their presence allows the more melodic elements to be pronounced in a way that was not always possible as a three-piece band.
