House of Vida is a group of 4 girls who are all based within the London area. The girls formed a group, after meeting by chance and agreeing that they all wanted to create an effect on British music. The 4 girls, Aimee, Katey, Cat and Lola all share an eclectic taste for music, ranging from funky house to reggae.
The Vida girls all share a very strong dance background, and will be incorporating their skills within dance in videos and at their gigs. They are all singers, songwriters and have been working within the industry in order to make their mark on music. Their music is in the style of electro-pop with a rocky edge but has its own 'Vida' sound. Their styling is particularly unconventional, creative and unique. They shy away from the standard jeans and t-shirts look and are more than happy to wear newspapers as clothing, even if it means they cant sit down!
The groups name is inspired by Vida, (meaning Life in spanish and an anagram of Diva), who the girls have come to know as a person. Often, when the girls have been mischievous they say 'Vida made me do it!', as Vida has become a crazy anonymous personality within the band. When in her 'House' the Vida girls are under her influence and the strangest things can happen!
