in my home town area in upstate NEW YORK with my brother DOUG playing bass in that band. After that I played drums and was a lead/backup singer for 3 years in the
" MADE IN U.S.A. BAND " in the mid seventies in HOLLYWOOD. Played bass and lead backup singer in the " THE NIGHTWING BAND " in the early eighties in NASHVILLE TENNESSEE. I played bass and lead backup sang for one year for "THE SUNDANCE BAND " in San Diego. I worked for 3 years for " POVERTY RECORDS " in SAN DIEGO as a record promoter during which at the same time I played bass for " THE KATIE MCKINZIE BAND " during the middle eighties. A few short ywars later
I co-wrote and produced a CD entitled " THEY SAID IT COULDN'T BE DONE " for the country music recording artist " BOOTS MCCOY " in ATLANTA GEORGIA during the middle ninties, which at the same time the album produced two singles. one peaked at 3 and the other peaked at 55 in the same month on the EUROPEAN COUNTRY VARITY CHARTS and stayed on those INTERNATIONAL CHARTS for over 6 months. The album got massive airplay in over 15 countries during that 6 month time frame. I also play with my brother DOUG in the " THE BARKER BROTHERS BAND ". The band is an original county music crossover variety blend of catchy lyrics and hooks and great sibling harmony. We have done private parties, several county fairs and many benefit shows over the years for worthy causes.Spent a few years in NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE as an indie artist on an indy label " SUNDIAL RECORDS ". Now I own my own entertainment company " GLOBAL STAR PARTNERS " and a publishing company " UNCLE CARLS MUSIC" BMI in RENO, NEVADA. I have songs available for any type of recording project. I am also available
