WWW.whateverworkswellness.comThe Whatever Works Wellness Center opened in 1990, a small little store in Pleasant Ridge. It's mission statement included offering out patrons compassion, support, and information and products that blended harmoniously the traditional and alternative approaches to wellness. The Center was staffed by 2 nurses, with a Physician on its board of directors. Connie Lasorso is a nurse and the original owner. A year later the center expanded to include The White Willow School of Tai Chi, by Vince Lasorso. Connie and Vince were married a year later. Vince, being a paramedic as well as a master Tai Chi instructer, brought the perfect ingredient to the center to promote its effectiveness. The store/school moved to a lovely big old house in Silverton, at 7433 Montgomery Rd, in 1994. Its been a sanctuary for many people ever since. A large product line of Wholistic wellness lines including, homeopathy, Flower Essences, Aromatherapy, crystals, gemstones, and jewelry, books on wellness and a plethera of other related topics such as spirituality, prevention, herbal medicine, and sound therapy. The center carries the near complete line of The Monroe Institute C.D.'s and technology. From Incense to Tarot cards, the center is filled with things of delight, great gifts, statuary, new age items, color therapy, magnets, bulk herbs, sprout kits, neti pots, supplements, and cards and tons of information. The upstairs Tai Chi School, teaches many types of classes and workshops toward health and wellness, relaxation, and body awareness. Meditation, sword, sound therapy, and Wholisound technologies. Truly something for everyone. The store has a wonderfully huge selection of raw stones from prices as low as .25 cents on up. A delight for everyone. Come into visit in this homey center, and be met by one store cat and three little love dogs. It's a nice place to find peace..... .. .. .. .. ..
