I teach art history and philosophy at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. I have a Ph.D. and MA in Art History, Theory and Criticism and an Art and Philosophy Certificate from Stony Brook University.
I did my undergraduate work in studio art at the College of Saint Rose and specialized in painting and photography: class of 2000! Afterwards I earned my Masters in Art History, Theory and Criticism at Stony Brook University.
Here in Albany I like going to Lark Street, Washington Park, or the Egg with my amazing fiancée, Claire :-) , for music, dance, or food. Whenever we can we like to go down to NYC for a trip to MoMA or to see a modern dance performance at BAM .
Along with going out in Albany and New York, I love traveling and learning languages. I speak Spanish, a little German, and can read French. I've visited the Netherlands, England, Spain, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Germany, and have seen a little bit of France and Switzerland.
