Jörg Bücheler is a freelance trombone player and educator from Germany with his current base in Vancouver, BC.
During and after his studies of Jazz and popular music at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hannover/Germany, where he received lessons from Nils Wogram and Ed Kroeger, he got to play and/or record with many different artists including Lyn Collins (R.I.P.), Marva Whitney, Gwen McCrae, Martha High, Bobby McFerrin, Pee Wee Ellis, Clyde Stubblefield and James Kakande. Various tours with some of these artists have led him all over Europe as well as to Tokyo/Japan.
Masterclasses and Workshops with Wayne Henderson (The Crusaders), Ray Anderson, Adrian Mears, Chick Corea, Richie Beirach, Nguyen Lee and Nils Wogram's Root 70 gave him the chance to expand his musical horizons./style
