Hi there. I'm Al Widmer. Not much to say about me. In my day job, I work as a Design Engineer at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant. Havin' a ball seeing the kids grow up into adulthood and it is an absolute blast. Ya think things couldn't get better and poof - they do.I play the trumpet in a few bands (Pieces of Eight Featuring the Lakeside Brass, Stone Pony featuring the NorthCoast Horns, Brothers Blues Band)as well as play in a German Brass Band (Gottscheer Blaskapelle). If you were to read my bios on either the Pieces of Eight or Stone Pony web sites, you would get a better idea of me....or maybe not. I always used to say that the music thing kept me out of the bars, and then I listened to what I said....boy did that make me laugh....I find it quite frustrating that the TV stations seem to have syncronized their commercials making it almost worthless to flip thru the channels....but I keep doing it anyway...Check out the sites of the projects (friends) I'm working with www.piecesofeightband.net - www.stoneponyband.com - www.brothersbluesband.com
