About Me

Im an around the way brother with a gang of music on my mind.After years of working with cover bands Glenn released his first project "Blue Collar Smooth" in 2002. As a member of www.Broadjam.com his selection "Smooth" spent weeks on thier Ohio Top Ten Chart. "BrealDYT" was an Honorable mention entry @ www.Songoftheyear.com. He followed with "...Right, Right" in 2003, from this project the tune "Im Tired" spent time on Broadjams blues chart. 2005 saw the release of "Inside Looking Out" which had a couple of tunes on Broadjams charts as well his tune "On to Three" making the October/05 finalist list in the instrumental catagory @ www.Songoftheyear.com. "Spilled Sand" his 2006 project brought new depth to his songwriting with tracks "October" and Munchkins Home" receiving suggested artist ratings from the Songoftheyear judges. His current project "Abstractisms" finds Glenn in fine form with the track "The Connect" currently in light rotation @ www.smoothjazz.com and www.smoothlounge.com web radio, also making the finalist list in the instrumental catagory @ www.Songoftheyear.com for July/07 and "I wanna talk 2 u" receiving a suggested artist rating for May/07. Glenn's goals as a guitarist and songwriter is to constantly improve and evolve as he creates grooves to chill with. Band Members: on my original music it has been mainly just myself in my home studio "Low Tech Style". Im a Guitarist mainly so i flesh my compositions out with a Guitar synth, Bass, Drum programming, Acoustic and Electric Guitars.
Influences: as a guitarist i've been influenced most by Ernie Isley, Eddie Hazel, Micheal Hampton,Vernon Reid, Jimmy Nolen, Nile Rodgers, Wes Montgomery, Norman Brown, Sugarfoot, Kendal Jones, George Benson, Mike Stern, Larry Carlton and Lee Ritenour.as a composer all the above plus Prince, Miles Davis, Thelonous Monk, EWF and the Ohio Players.as a listener im wide open when it comes to music so i tend to purchase music from many very different types of artist...i probaly buy three to five CD's a month and thats before i download tunes.found this music layout at HOT: FreeLayouts.com
