The Ann Arbor Summer Festival is an exhilarating celebration of performing arts, outdoor entertainment and community spirit. Each year, the three-week event offers dozens of performances, events, activities, exhibitions, parties and more, with eclectic music, dance, theater, film, visual arts and family fun.
Now celebrating its 25th season, the Festival has invigorated the cultural life of this community as a joyous town-gown event for over two decades. It brings the world to Ann Arbor: innovative artists, eager students, enthusiastic audiences, curious visitors and anyone looking to be inspired by the performing arts.
Mainstage
From cutting edge dance to contemporary circus, scorching blues to swinging big band, fiery Latin jazz to grooving global pop, the Ann Arbor Summer Festival features legendary artists, pop icons, and international superstars. This year’s event presents a variety of highly anticipated debuts by veteran artists and today’s most acclaimed young performers, as well as the return of popular Festival favorites.
Top of the Park
One of Ann Arbor’s most beloved events, Top of the Park is the annual outdoor music and movie series produced by the Ann Arbor Summer Festival. Focusing primarily on local and regional artists, the admission-free event is the perfect complement to the national and international scope of its parent Festival. And this year, Top of the Park takes place at Ingalls Mall next to The Power Center.
Whether you come before or after an indoor performance, or simply to hang out on a warm starry night, bring your family and friends for a fun-filled evening of eclectic entertainment and lasting Ann Arbor memories.
