It began in the year 2000 when DJ Kaoss and DJ Pete Acid, wanting to bring some freshness into the swiss d'n'b-scene, decided to take things in their own hands and started organizing partys .. Dylan was booked for the first USP-event. Enthusiastic but inexperienced promoters as they were, the events have rendered many times a deficit - but they managed to 'stay alive' ..
Dedicated to the underground sounds they aimed for quality and independence and kept promoting yet not so known artists. Many of their booked international artists were proudly presented "first time in Switzerland" - and were later to be highly acknowledged in the d'n'b-scene and with some of their tunes being rinsed by many of the elite players all over the globe.
USP grew stronger when they met comrades of compassion; when other DJs joined the crew. They constantly expanded their collection of records and their DJ-skills and rocking the decks here and there - and keeping the vibes high by listening, dancing and supporting at venues allover .. Sound has advanced, many things and some crew-faces have changed since 2000 but one thing has stayed the same – their love for Drum’n’Bass! And for Darkpsy Goa Trance!
USP Psy in 2005 USP started organizing dark psychedelic trance parties, following their passion for fast and advanced sounds and the spirit of the Goa Scene ... Milosz, Karol, and Zenkatsu are spinning Darkpsy. The Further Dimensions trilogy (indoor) parties in 2006/2007 have been very successful .. topped by the very unique experience of the Forgotten Ritual festival this summer..
The darkpsy label Underground Sound Promotions has just released their second CD : Into the Void - promoting some of the most exciting music from around the world: Japan, Greece and the United States. The next release is scheduled for early 2009 and will be the 2nd artist album from Ghreg on Earth.
