About Me

History:::
------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------
At the tender age of 6 years I started singing, if you can call it singing, imitating singers from tv and radio. When I was 12 years old I had my first professional singing experience in different quires (church quire, gospel quire and school quire). 1996 I started different projects and founded my first R’n’B group called ‘Juice’. When I met Michael ‘Bazz’ Jackson in 1997 I left ‘Juice’ to start a new hip hop and R’n’B group with him, called ‘Ill Connection’. We’ve been discovered by Airman Productions and signed our first deal with BMG. We performed together with known groups as 2-4 Family, Daisy Dee (Club Rotation), Cappuccino etc., this is where I first used my stage name ‘Danny Dee’. Due to differences amongst each other we decided not to carry on and each went our own way. In 2000 I met Alen, Andre and Thomas and we founded the group ‘Tha Dragons’. I became the leader of the group and changed my stage name from ‘Danny Dee’ to ‘Dragon D’. We had great concepts and performed with Ferris MC, Turbo B. (Snap) and Edo Fresh. We found a great sponsor and produced our first EP and with this presented ‘Tha Dragons’ at different music events. The first step to success was made and the group scored a couple of little successes, nonetheless it seemed that the music scene was overcrowded with boy bands and disappointment was obviously creeping in and the question why we still haven’t gotten ourselves under contract. Searching for reasons lead to differences among each other and one member left the group, which didn’t make things better and in the end we decided to split up in the spring of 2005. Things only got better for me from then on. Through Tha Dragons I had picked up my contact with Michael ‘Bazz’, who now works as A&R and Producer for a label company named ‘Gimme Mo Records’ and suggested I join the Gimme Mo ‘family’. In summer of 2004 I met Maik Böse at a music event, he is the owner of an Events –and Booking agency in Oldenburg. He gave me the chance to nationally and internationally show off my talents as MC and singer and became a steady member in the Black Paradise Squad and go on tour with DJ Bee Dat, DJ Iron, DJ Hornee, DJ Wayne and DJ Rebel. A lot of people asked me “why is your name D.C a.k.a Dragon D”. The answer is: D.C is my singing name and Dragon D. Is my MC name.
