About Me
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a better place, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you haved lived. This is to have succeeded."
--Ralph Waldo Emerson
If I could write in a high speed car chase scene, a fiery explosion that sends me diving head first, or say I'm Shakira's secret lyrical inspiration and that she sernades her new songs to me before they are released to the public, that would definitely make this "About Me" pop right out of your screen. Well, I can't say those things in truth. But what I can say is, without getting into details, I'm an extrovert introvert, extroverted but then again who isn't, heh. Born, raised, living most of my life in New Mexico, and call Farmington my hometown. I'm a Christian, Native American, Dad, member of a great family, and friend. Thinking of myself as optimist, constantly striving for that next higher level of character, integrity, and understanding. I have two beautiful children, Robert and Sarah, whom live with their mother and there aren't any words to describle, the full extent, the love I have for them. As a full blooded member of the Navajo Tribe (Woot! Woot!), my clan is Ashiihi/Hashk'aa hadzoh, which in english, is Salt People, on my mom's side, and Yucca Fruit-Strung-Out-In-A-Line Clan on my Dad's side. Growing up as a realist, it always conflicted with the idealist in me, but now am proud to say I follow and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ with all my heart, having faith in him to keep me this present day and lead me into the future.
My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body. Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you. Make level paths for your feet and take only ways that are firm. Do not swerve to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.
