Hey we are the Celibate Drunken Monks. Formerly of Telluride,Co but now we live here in SanDiego.(best move we ever made) So yes we do play punk and no its not candyapple,pop,emo,screamo,radio friendly crap! We like to call ourselves Punk revivalist for the reason that that is where our influences come from ol'school punk( Misfits, Bad Brains,Circle Jerks,DK,Addolesents,BlackFlag,Bad Religion,etc......................... Anyway we can't stand the mainstream slaughter of the music that we grew up on! It was great back then and has remained timeless. Besides A few bands that have stayed true to the roots of "punk Rock" Eveyone else Sux big donkey balls.We woln't even give them the space to name them but they and you know who "they" are.
