About Me

I was born in the US and raised in Hawaii, and later moved to the cruel nordic regions of Minnesota. I finally got sick of the lack of culture and cold weather and moved to Zagreb, Croatia. I am a former journalist, previously contibuting to several music sources, and have moved on to focus more on photography and the art of music. My interests are primarily of the METAL and DARK persuasion (note, I do NOT cover Rap/R&B) I am currently in the midst of watching pear blossoms bloom on the trees and rain make fantastical maps on my windows. Some writing results from this voyeurism, sometimes.C O M I S S I O N S: Metal bands or labels wishing to get in touch with me for stock photos, cover art, non-studio promo photography, or live photography should know that I do not charge for non-staff work unless the photo is used for commercial purposes. BANDS - If I have photographed you and you want different versions or full copy of the set please contact me!

Lightness

Some time ago I gave up harassing bands and their management for interviews, networking my way through the plastic smiles and subverted gazes of industry zombies, and offering my opinion on releases. ...

Interview: Chthonics Freddy Lim

St.Paul, Minnesota was on the eerily quiet hangover edge left by a freak storm that had raged the night before, another one brewing on the toxic green horizon turning to dusk beyond Station 4. The clu...

Evokens Nick Orlando Poetizes On Caressing The Void

Obsidian droplets of rain trace a slow procession down the face of a midnight sky. The scent of moss and forgotten bouquets fill the air, spiraling in a Venetian waltz with the mist as it settles arou...

Interview With Devin Townsend Band Turned Terror Syndrome Drummer Ryan VP
