I am here for Networking

About Me

i am the frontman in a rock n' roll ensemble called Second Shift, and reside in the oh-so-lovely metropolitan area of Atlanta, GA. one of the papers in town deemed us "atlanta's alt-rock playboys." which sounds way cooler than we really are. but you can see for yourself at www.myspace.com/secondshift. i have all kinds of different interests, that look funny on paper. here's a strange combo or two for ya :: yes, i'm a rock n' roll gunslinger... i've kissed courtney love. warmed up the stage for weezer... and been followed around by a rolling stone reporter at 4 in the morning after playing with Jet. but i also love golf. have an espresso addiction. and crave fine dining. i frequent local shows in basement venues. but i've also attended the grammy awards in LA. i have an iphone. however i would really rather use a rotary telephone, my fountain pen, and enjoy music on my turntable. books are great. computers are merely convenient. and blogs are getting annoying. if you asked me my favorite band, i couldn't tell you. but i do like the one i'm in.if nothing else, i'm an entertainer.

the strokes vs. MJQ

guys in bands dig the strokes. a lot. i know, cause i'm in one, and i love the five flopply-haired, fashion conscious lads from ny. i can't help it. their new-school-old-school VU inspired sound is st...
