I am a Catholic single(kind of a oxy moron but I'm working on that) mom of three amazing children Kennedy 9, Holden 7, and Griffen 5 they are only good contribution my ex husband will ever make to this world. I have learned that the word father is only matters of the heart, it has nothing to do with biology. A father is someone who assumes the role, and my children and I are very fortunate to have a man that loves us both enough to want that. I am epileptic which is a little random and sometimes scary and crazy but who doesn't love a good seizure story. I have had several rough years with my health, divorce, poor relationship choice’s, job security, and lack of child support. So stability is a must in all other aspects in my life for me and my children. I have had to prioritize and pick and choose my battles. I have had to realize what things in my life are suitable in friendships as well as relationships and realize I was contributing to certain unhealthy patterns that were not going too end or change. That I need positive influences in life because I have a tendency to latch on to negative ones. That I want to celebrate birthdays, baptisms, weddings and mourn funerals with my friends and family. It took me getting ill to see that its the memories you share and experience with people you love. To me that is what life is all about. And being closer to my religion and my faith and anything that takes me away is merely a distraction.
