My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I like genuine people. I like considerate people. I like people who make me laugh. I like people who can appreciate how much I love pink. I like people who are smarter than me. I like people who challenge me. I like pushovers, sometimes, but mostly I like someone who will not let me push them around. I like people who listen. I like people with goals. I love everything related to

Music:

I love country music and classic rock. My favorite 80s band is Journey. I don't watch American Idol - I have been protesting since Clay lost to Ruben.

Movies:

Anything with a sappy love story, especially Dirty Dancing! The Thomas Crowne Affair. The Game. 10 Things I Hate About You. Napolean Dynamite.

Television:

Nip/Tuck. Grey's Anatomy. The Amazing Race. The Apprentice. Treasure Hunters. Passions. I was on Wheel of Fortune.

Books:

I just joined a conservative book club. Right now I am reading How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must). In high school I read Crime and Punishment and that was my favorite school book. I refuse to sell text books back to the bookstore because they rob you.

Heroes:

I had an amazing teacher in high school that everyone hated. People played mean tricks on her all the time and always talked bad about her. Everytime I have to speak in front of people or write a paper I realize how great she was. She is my "hero" because she has devoted her life to making other people better - people who don't appreciate her and do terrible things behind her back. I feel the same way about our troops - our soldiers have devoted their lives to fighting for people who don't even appreciate it.
