About Me

There it was in black and white, as undeniable as hope, there was no meaning at all. If the earth opened up and swallowed me whole there would be more meaning in my absence than in my being. Whether I spent years making millions as a stock broker or wasted my existence as a dishwasher, it would amount to the same 28 grams that we all lose in dying. To believe otherwise is to invest in the grandest scam ever perpetuated. Thank you religion for this illusion of worth. Ha. I could just see a corpse wasting away ten feet under and thinking to himself, 'Oh yeah, I'm sure glad I worked so hard for that BMW. Without that I'd be...exactly where I am now.'Angry. I guess that describes me at this point. Poignantly pissed off. Yeah, that's it. A little voice says that some people need religion. A littler voice says: Or they would what? Fall apart, go mad, kill people without restraint, off themselves? There's an idea. If there's no point, why stick around? I don't buy it. I mean, I know several people, myself included, that aren't waiting in line for the suicide booth. It's the movie concept. Movies are a billion dollar business. You have sad movies, scary movies, really fuc*ed up movies; but honestly how many people do you see walking out of them? You don't get anything tangible of watching the movie, hell you even pay for the damn thing. Yet, millions of people sit down in front of a screen everyday in their own homes. Really, movies are exactly like living.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anne Rice. We'd have coffee. Then I'd slap her in the face with a pair of gloves and say "That's for 'Memnoch the Devil'."

Herbs

I come home from the office and sit down on the dirt in my grey pinstripe pants. Carefully, I pluck each little blade of grass from my little space of dirt. The cilantro looks like cilantro now and th...

Et tu Brute?

Shakespeare never meant the phrase for Brutus. For Caesar, Brutus only represented the other half of himself. Caesar was bifurcated into the "guilty" and executionor with the first striving for self-a...

I have been completely awful to most everyone and I have no explanation. I think the part of me that was passionate is dying; also no explanation.
