2008 has seen soulBEAUTIFUL take off and make connections with some great artists amongst the independent soul scene. The role of "booking agent" has been an unexpected, but welcome change to what we do.April saw sB team up with Choklate Music (Seattle, Washington), OnTheVerge (Virginia Beach) and Soul Nation (Paris, France) to complete the last leg of soul sensation Choklate's first solo European tour. The Choklate UK Street team was also launched this year, after the success of her two packed out shows in Europe.This year has also seen the return of independent soul's king Eric Roberson to the UK. Eric's official UK Street Team, an entity of soulBEAUTIFUL inc., is always heavily involved in the promotion of these shows, as well as concentrating on sales and distribution between visits.

You might get a drop of HIP-HOP, a taste of FUNK, with some EXPERIMENTAL thrown into the mix..but it’s always going to be straight up SOULFUL. It could be some NEW EXCLUSIVE stuff, or maybe just something you’ve never heard before and occasionally we’ll go back and bring you something we think was and still is a HOT TRACK. It’s all about sB giving YOU something that we think you NEED.
HOW IT WORKS...
Every week a new track will be uploaded just for YOU. It will be played for one week on the sB MySpace page reaching a million eardrums and downloaded by many. After a week the track will taken down...and we’ll start all over again with a new track!

Ok...so I’m in a unusual soppy lovey-dovey mood this week...and this download fits my mood. Perfectly infact!
Earlier this week I recieved a copy of V’s new and long anticipated album entitled “The Paradox†from the lovely Trelly over at ONUTSS . I skimmed through each track just to get a feel of the album and “This Moment†immediatley stuck out.
The arrangement, the words, the vocals....V reached me on all of these elements and more. In fact it’s probably not healthy for me to explain the emotions this piece of music draws from me, but I hope when you listen to it you understand.
I call some tracks “straight SEX!†and this has to be one of them. Grown folks music!
With that said I am dedicating this one to a special person (cheesy I know) but anyone who is in love, in lust, whatever label you want to give it, is more than welcome to do the same.
