Those that know me, know I'm not just a dork, but the Queen of Dorks! LOLI've been called a dork many times, and that's okay. To me, a dork is someone doing their own thing, not hurting anyone or anything, just having fun. So, if someone looks at me like I'm crazy (and trust me, they do) I just tell them it's because they are jealous that I'm having more fun than they are. I pretty much do and say whatever pops into my mind... and usually get into trouble with that, but,I'm too old to change now. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ I am here on myspace to talk with family and make friends.... My family being the most important thing in my life.~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ There have been many changes in my life... I have learned to take nothing for granted, and to not regret anything in life. There are no accidents in life, and knowing this, and living life, one day at a time, is the only way to live. I know this journey of life will take me places I have never been before...I look forward to what is to come. I only look back on my life, to learn and to help me with the road ahead. I am taking time for myself, something I have never done before, and I am not sure just how to do this. But, with the help from my friends and family, I know that I will survive. Thank you to everyone that I hold dear to my heart, and for never giving up on me. For those that want to know more about me... just ask.~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ I love just about all sci-fi shows and books. Anything with Star Trek, I'm all about! My all time favorite has to be Star Trek Voyager, I LOVE Kate Mulgrew and Jeri Ryan!!! I still read my comic books when I can. I read mostly Marvel comics, but I have found some DC comics that I really enjoy. Very slowly, I am working on building my collection back. I know it is very easy to find anything you want on line, but there is nothing like walking into a comic book store, and just rolling up your sleeves and digging into the back issues boxes! Gotta love it! So, yes, with the sci-fi and comics and such... and yes, I even go to the comic book shows... I am a classic 'dork' to many. My children love the fact that I'm such a dork, I know all about the comics and neopets and all the best cartoons. I am going to enjoy this while I can, they are growing up so fast... Before long, I will no longer be able to understand them, the teen years will soon be here. So, for now, I am going to enjoy the fact that I am 'cool' in the eyes of our girls.~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ I am Cherokee/German... and after all this time, I am finally finding my path in life. I am understanding my history more every day, and embracing it with all that I am. I am learning the life and language of the Cherokee people. They are part of my past, and I do not want to let that slip past me. Some of my family have turned their backs to the Native family. I will not do the same. The Native Americans have suffered enough, and it is time their voices are heard once again. Our children will know and understand this part of their family, and be as proud as I am to say we are Cherokee.
