Era verão quando os dois guitarristas começaram a errar. Para não se sentirem sozinhos, convidaram um baterista genial e um baixista péssimo. Com a situação equilibrada e músicas a surgir, orgulhosos dos seus erros, chamaram um bom vocalista para dar a sua opinião. Opinião, não tinha, mas gostou e ficou para errar também. Inicialmente, falava-se de avestruzes, que, para quem não sabe, põem ovos que, bem aproveitados, alimentam até 12 pessoas. E sabem muito bem, se temperados decentemente e acompanhados com um bom porto. Foi a primeira grande inspiração para a recente banda com vontade de errar, esta versatilidade de um único ovo. Mas quando o revivalismo do Rock em Coimbra começou a ganhar dinâmica, a necessidade de tirar a cabeça do buraco mostrou-se superior ao conforto e à sedentarização com que os Mistakers nunca encararam a sua música. Se se fazia algo de bom, também eles podiam fazer algo de que se orgulhariam, principalmente se fossem erros! Em quase um ano, prepararam reportório para começar a errar ao vivo e começaram a errar por onde as asneiras os levarem. O vosso maior erro será gostarem de Rock, pois ainda acabam a gostar de The (Proud) Mistakers… ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------- It was summer time when two friens with guitars started making mistakes. To end their loneliness they invited a drummer who was a genius and a lousy bassist. With the situation well balenced and feeling very proud about their newest mistakes, the band asked a great singer his opinion. He didn't had one, but he liked the way the music sounded and decided to start mistaking with them. First they talked about ostriches, that can lay eggs capable to feed near 12 people. And it tastes fine, too. It was the first great inspiration to their recent will to make mistakes. But when they heard about the new revival wave in Coimbra, which was getting pretty dinamic, the need to get their heads out of the hole was superior than the conformity that Mistaker's music never had. If something good was beeing made in their own city, they could only make something that would made them proud, mainly if mistakes! In almost a year they prepared enough songs to start mistaking live, so they went to play where their floops lead them to. Your bigest mistake would be to like Rock, because you may start enjoying The (Proud) Mistakers...
