I must start by saying that I’m blessed with two beautiful children! Well, perhaps young adults is more appropriate LOL! Anyway, the three us have been to hell and back; however, the most important thing is that we have traveled the road together and are stronger individuals for having done so.

I’ve come to believe that the reason life and love is complicated for so many of us is that over time we become jaded; losing faith that we will ever feel that purely again. Many of us just give up and settle for whomever comes along, but deep down inside we yearn to be close to that one person that will make our heart beat a little faster. We long for that person who somehow makes bright days brighter and dark days bearable. Often times, we do not know how to describe that person. We’re not quite sure how to articulate what it is we seek; however, we do know that we’ll know it when it happens. I tend to believe that it begins with friendship...
Music is a large part of my life. Not that I’m musically inclined or anything LOL! I’m just naturally drawn to music. I think we’re all drawn to different music for different reasons, but for me it’s because something in the music or the lyrics strikes a chord inside me. I am so drawn to the singer/songwriters who are compelled to write, sing, and perform because they have no choice. They are easy to hear if close your eyes and listen with your heart... Kinda like love I think ... Close your eyes, follow your heart, and brace yourself...
