Johnny Lazer

This is the site for my original tunes. I started writiing songs in 1983 with "State Police" and have 'matured' into songwriting over the years. My first live performance was at 6 years old in front of about 600 parents at my elementary school in Westwood, NJ. Tough crowd! You may be familiar with my first band "The Sanson Brothers" (www'myspace.com/sansonbrothers). The other brothers now reside in the Myrtle beach area. I have played in a variety of bands over the years including "Fantasy", "Dramatones", "The Johnny Lazer Band" and most recently "Clever Medicine" (www.myspace.com/clevermedicine). I did road work with "Buck Hall and The Buckshot Band" and "Phil Accardi's Chalice". I also was featured in Martin Lawrence's 20th Century Fox release, "Black Knight" as the somewhat comical organetta player in his medieval band. I have retired from performing music live, but I do still record new material, so check in from time to time and drop a line, I'll be glad to hear from you.
