traveling, music, books (esp. old ones. It's a tangible piece of history. When you hold an old book in your hands, you really are holding a piece of the past. You can even smell it's life.) (Yes, I did just say I like to smell books. Not kidding. It's a distinct smell, like an old cedar chest, but not so cedary. I mean, I guess it depends on what kind of trees the paper was made out of. What kind of trees are books made out of anyway? Is there a specific kind?)
Santa Clause, the Easter bunny, Jesus (mocked his followers for misunderstanding), Pegasus, the president, the tooth fairy.

So far this year I've read Mary Roach's Stiff and Kerouac's Desolation Angels. I'm still in the middle of 1984. I read 11 pages of Love in the Time of Cholera. I've read two chapters of The Big Sleep. I'm the type that keeps a few books revolving.
I don't really have any heroes, but I got some really good friends, family, and mentors. Xie xie.
