Iron Fingaz, a member of Noble Scity, began writing rhymes when he was only 8 years old. Now 15 years later, he is beginning to make a name for himself, not only locally, but around the nation and overseas as well. From rhyming on the block and in lunch room cafeterias to battling MCs back and forth, Iron has always stayed focused and true to the art form bringing raw lyrics and substance. Iron has also combined his talents with some of the most incredible MCs. First linking up with his right hand man Danamic at Proctor R. High School in Utica, NY and then going onto linking up with Illy Vas to form Noble Scity. Now, paired with an arsenal of MCs including Crucial the Guillotine, Illy Vas, & Kaotny, as well as, guest appearances with the likes of Kevlaar 7 [Wisemen], Sleep Sinatra [Slangg Mobb], and more, the saga has only begun. Released in 2008, “Meridian Articles: Prelude to the Gemâ€, was a mixtape that showed a glimpse of what is to come and was an appetizer for fans awaiting the debut solo album, numerous years in the making, “The Meridian Gemâ€, to be released in 2009. Before the “Gemâ€, Iron will be dropping a follow up mixtape to "Meridian Articles" entitled "Gem Star: Prelude to the Gem Pt. II".
