About Me
I landed on this planet due to a mixup at the cosmic nursery. That, at least, is my story and I'm sticking to it until after the trial!Seriously, my all-encompassing passion is learning. In that process I've made a lot of mistakes and done a whole lot of boneheaded things. One thing I've begun to learn is that living to serve the self leads to contraction of the self. It is a paradox that most of us have noticed, though we try to convince ourselves that such isn't the case with our own service to self. Yet, we recognize the tightened face and pursed lips (a physical sign of the self contracting) of the miser in a film or play. We know the end result of service to self, but we usually choose to keep our eyes closed when we look in the mirror.I'm not there, yet. I still serve myself above all else. Perhaps there is no way out of that in this life time. No matter, I will continue to learn and attempt to align myself with that side of creation that serves others. Another paradox: serving others grows the self!
