About Me

DEE ROSCIOLI : A native of Easton, Pennsylvania, Dee Roscioli began acting at the age of 12 and at age 16 saw her first Broadway show-it was Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats, a show in which she would later star as glamour cat Grizabella. After high school, Dee went on to major in theater at DeSales University, and before graduating, performed such roles as Marian the librarian in Act One's production of The Music Man and the beggar woman in Sweeney Todd. After graduating DeSales in 1999, Dee stayed in the Lehigh Valley to start off her theater career, performing at Dorney Park and the Fernwood resort in the Poconos. Soon she won the role of Delia in the national tour of Pokemon Live! and then toured as Grizabella in Cats. Dee is currently performing as Elphaba in Chicago's production of Wicked.
ERIN MACKEY : She was born June 19, 1986 in Fullerton, CA. She performed in musicals from Kindergarten through high school. After performing as a "milkmaid" in the musical, Brigadoon she was approached by a manager about auditioning for film and television in Los Angeles. Her first audition was for The Parent Trap and she was cast as Lindsay Lohan's acting double in the 1998 remake. She attended college at Carnegie Mellon University for one year as a musical theater major. The summer before her sophomore year (2005), she landed a job as a swing on the National Tour of Wicked. After 7 months on tour, Mackey moved to the Chicago company of Wicked as an ensemble member and an understudy for Glinda. She took over the role from actress Stacie Morgain Lewis on October 24, 2006. She and co-star Dee Roscioli are currently contracting through September 2007. She is the youngest actress to ever be the principal Galinda in Wicked.

MEET THE CAST AT THE STAGE DOOR!

FROM THE FANS:

Wicked was one of the best nights in my wife and I's life. We came to Chicago without our kids and felt like real grown ups. I also feel like songs like "Defy Gravity" changed me "for good". I can't stop listening to the soundtrack. I only wish that the soundtrack was the Chicago cast. We can't wait to take our 7 year old daughter up to Chi Town as she has falling in love with the soundtrack, especially "Popular". Also you should see our little 3 year old sing "Wonderful", he just loves it. Thank you Chicago Cast, We Love You, -Brian, Erin & Family

I love Wicked in Chicago because the entire cast is amazing. They put on a great show 8 times a week which takes a ton of energy. After which they are always willing to stop, talk to the fans, and sign autographs at the stage door. I love that the Chicago cast is so down to earth and friendly and they really appreciate their fans. -Kurtis

I LOVE WICKED BECAUSE OF DEE!!! ALSO BECAUSE OF ERIN!!!!!!!!! ALSO BECAUSE ITS IN CHICAGO BABY! -Mariah

Wicked took me by surprise. I love musicals but had no idea that this absolute gem was out there. It is magic how a show can transport you to another world, make you care deeply about the characters and leave you wanting to relive the whole experience over again. This all in the space of two and a half hours and because this Chicago ensemble is so talented, hardworking and dedicated. -David

I love Wicked in Chicago because it was my first Broadway show. I fell in love with the whole idea of Broadway because of Wicked. I identified so much with Elphaba, which is why I loved the show so much. Erin and Dee were so inspiring and were great! The entire show was amazing! Because of Wicked, I have become a major Broadway fan! -Kaela

When i went to Chicago in May and saw it, i saw Jenny the understudy. I was looking forward to Dee but jenny was amazing! Kate was Glinda and Michael was Fiyero. They were just amazing! Their voices and acting were so amazing i couldnt describe it! i wanted to come back so badly because sadly i didnt get to go to stage door! :( So im leaving tomorrow (thanksgiving) to go to Chicago again and i hope i get to see Dee. Im also going to stage door this time so i'll get a picture! :) -Heather

WICKED CHICAGO CLOSES 1-25-09

Well I sent you my first Wicked memory and it was the first one posted, so now I will send you my last Wicked Chicago memory. We took our 7 year old that loves the sound track to see Wicked and it happened to be Dee's first weekend back with the show. The show was perfect as I expected it to be. I have such an attachment to the story that I cried from the first note to the standing O. Watching my daughter lip sync the words was awesome. After the show we went to the stage door and met a few of the performers, but many didn't come out as we went to the Matinee and they would just relax between shows, but someone told the cast of the many people that were still out there waiting after an hour and a half and then Annaleigh came out and met everyone. She signed my little girls Playbill and took pictures with her and my wife. The magic of Chicago has never failed to move me, and will continue to do so, but the Wicked experience will be dearly missed. It has been said a million times, by millions of fans, but it rings true always, This family has been changed for good. Thank you for this page and please keep it going so that we as Wicked fans might keep in touch and discuss the show. -Brian, Erin & Family

I was so lucky and blessed to see Wicked on January 8th - my son and his wife bought me two tickets for Christmas, and put them in the book Son of a Witch. I opened my gift and I was like "Oh Cool! I wanted to read this for the longest!" my son then said "open to page 13" and there were the tickets! My daughter and I went to the show, and it was something that will live in our hearts and memory for ever...You guys are so talented, and I have to agree, For Good moved me so much, and made me think of my best friend from childhood...thank you for the privelege of seeing your performance...Good luck on your next endevor!! -Nita Marie

I had the privilege of seeing Wicked in Chicago on December 6th. My Dad had recently passed away and I needed a weekend away. Wicked was the highlight! For Good is a song that makes me think of my Dad and that night it moved me to tears. I loved the show, loved the cast and wish everyone within the best of luck in their new endeavors.
