MAD.BEAR nació en otoño de 2001 para fomentar el ambiente osuno en Madrid y organizar la kdd, que, a partir de ese año, comenzaría a conocerse con el mismo nombre de la asociación.
Pero no solo de kdds vive el oso. MAD.BEAR quiere, además, impulsar diversas actividades abiertas a todos los que tengáis ganas de participar, como excursiones, cenas, fiestas... Esperamos hacer de Madrid un referente y deseamos fomentar un clima participativo.
Además, el club servirá como canal de comunicación con otros clubs de España y con algunos del extranjero, mediante intercambios y otras actividades conjuntas.
MAD.BEAR was set up in the Autumn of 2001 to organise a Bear scene in Madrid and to the organise the Annual Bears Week-end of that year, which is now a huge international event. From that date, the Bears Week-end became known by the same name as the Association.
But Bears do not live by party week-ends alone! Mad.Bear seeks to organise a range of activities open to all who wish to participate such as trips, dinners, fun nights etc.
We hope to make Madrid a reference point in the bear world and wish to promote a climate of active participation.
In addition, the Club aims to act as a channel of communication with other Clubs in Spain and abroad, through exchanges and other joint activities.
