Updated 1-28-2008 Me and Lindsay have moved into a place about 3 miles from the Las Vegas Strip. Its truly amazing were always staying in hotels for free and being Diamond members get treated like kings like i tell my friends all the time i am a fake high roller lol. Next month will mark my 2 year anniversery wow 2 years living in Vegas time can really fly bye. My goal when i moved here is to win a braclet although i have not succeeded in that goal i have been able to make a living as i have done now for 6 years so i cant complain. In my first evr WSOP event i got to sit next to phil helmuth in his record 11 braclet and was knockout bye Pro David Plastik who i respect more than any Professional player i have played with on the tour. Then I won the Free roll at Ceasars Palace which put me in Ceasars first ever Million Dollar classic buy in 10000 my first and only 10,000 buy in to this dat First place was 1 Million. There were 289 top level pros that enter this event becase not to many amutuers have 10 grand to put up so the field was incredibly tough. Well i was able to make it to day 2 and 30 spots out of the money ran into a big hand vs Scott Fishman he sucked out runner runner straight to cripple me i was able to bring that all the way back up to respeactable amount of chips when i put it in all in vs Kido Pham who is a crazy playerand i should of knew he would call with a small pair he did my AK did not improve and their went my chance at the ! million first place money shit i would of took 2 for 400,000 lol but the experiance alone in that tournament made be truly believe like i always knew that i was meant for this bussiness. And then the following feb i took 2 in the Ventian Deep stack to Matt brady who won the Aruba Classic last year and finish 17 overall in the player of the year so i got to say my experiance since i have been out here i truly will never forget but i am not done yet hopefully a braclet is in the future!! I like to leave this with a poem by phil Helmuth its a big reason why I finnally went after my dreams. The Universe Conspired To Help- The man had a dream He knew what he wanted,it seems Once he was sure in his heart this was it He vowed someday that he would achieve it He wasn't quite ready to do his thing But he felt fairly certain what the future would bring When one day the time was right When he was ready to fight the good fight He conquered all his excuses and set forth To take the risk-fraught first step without any remorse Once he took the first step down the line The universe conspired to help make sure he was fine He never dreamed he would accomplish so much That the universe would give him such incredible luck Now older and wiser he understood the hardest part Was convincing himself that it was time to start. 11 Wsop braclet winner Phil Hellmuth
