About Me

I am a writer. I have written newspaper and magazine articles and a book "Widowed Without Warning". My first husband was killed in a commercial airplane crash in Pittsburgh (USAir flight 427) leaving me a young widow at the age of thirty-eight. Although I wrote my book to help others who are suddenly widowed, it became cathartic for me. My book has helped many other widows cope with the painful feelings that occur when a loved one suddenly dies. Because this is a true account of how I lived through the grief, it helps others know they are not alone in their feelings of despair and loneliness. I am now re-married which proves that there can be more to life after the death of a spouse. It is only as good as we make it. The Second Chapter of my life allows me to travel and experience new adventures. I love to laugh and have fun. It feels so good to enjoy everything again.
