I am here for Friends

About Me

well, it's been a while since i've changed this...i never really feel the need to change my profile, i'm the same person i was when i wrote the last bit i had posted here...but i'll try to describe the same old me in a new way...
i'm not your average person, i actually like to go to see the opera and the ballet, i'll drink my wine with my dinner some nights but other nights i come home and slip into some boxer shorts and a shirt that's one size too big, grab a beer from the fridge, and turn on the game. (Steelers and Rams are my teams) some days i'll wear make-up but most days i don't. i can be quiet and reserved, but once you crack my shell i might never shut up ;) i can be super opinionated, but some days i couldn't care less. i like to argue or debate with my friends at times because it's good conversation and you can learn a lot about a person, yet i'm only really competative in games, especially card games and strategy board games (ex stratego!) i'm odd, i know, i'm corky and weird, whatever, and i've realized over many years that the oddballs in life, the people that aren't "normal" seem to have the most fun and appreciate things more, so i'm fine with being in that stereotype
Now that you read ALL about me take the quiz to see how well you REALLY know me....haha have fun! Take my Quiz! and then Check out the Scoreboard! .. it really is a funny word
I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 !
You Belong in 1967
If you scored...
1950 - 1959: You're fun loving, romantic, and more than a little innocent. See you at the drive in!
1960 - 1969: You are a free spirit with a huge heart. Love, peace, and happiness rule - oh, and drugs too.
1970 - 1979: Bold and brash, you take life by the horns. Whether you're partying or protesting, you give it your all!
1980 - 1989: Wild, over the top, and just a little bit cheesy. You're colorful at night - and successful during the day.
1990 - 1999: With you anything goes! You're grunge one day, ghetto fabulous the next. It's all good! What Year Do You Belong In?
You Are 50% Boyish and 50% Girlish
You are pretty evenly split down the middle - a total eunuch.
Okay, kidding about the eunuch part. But you do get along with both sexes.
You reject traditional gender roles. However, you don't actively fight them.
You're just you. You don't try to be what people expect you to be. How Boyish or Girlish Are You?
What Disney Princess Are You?

Pocahontas
A free spirite of sorts. My favorite Disney princess...you're so brave!

The Keys to Your Heart
You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.

In love, you feel the most alive when your lover is creative and never lets you feel bored.

You'd like to your lover to think you are loyal and faithful... that you'll never change.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was ruthless, cold-blooded, and sarcastic.

Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.

Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.

You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.

In this moment, you think of love as something you thirst for. You'll do anything for love, but you won't fall for it easily. What Are The Keys To Your Heart?

Music:

My taste of music is a little bit of everything because I have different groups of friends that listen to different stuff. In my family alone I have a brother 8 years older than me that listens to 80's hair bands and what not and my other brother loves classical music. My dad was in folk and jazz bands and my mom likes christain rock. She does love the Beatles too. I also dated one guy that only listened to hippie jam music and another that only listened to indie rock. My friends love everything from rap, heavy metal, punk, emo, and country. Here's the list for the most part. (in no particular order & sorry if there are repeats)
Radiohead, Bob Marley, Pink Floyd, Smashing Pumpkins, Led Zepplin, The Flamming Lips, Modest Mouse, The Cure, The Who, Franz Ferdinand, Blink 182, Incubus, Linkin Park, Matchbox 20, Something Corporate, Mindless Self Indulgence, All Saints, David Bowie, System of Down, some Green Day, Sonic Youth, Death Cab for Cutie, The Postal Service, The Who, U2, Nine Inch Nails, All American Rejects, Jet, CCR, The Police, Bruce Dickinson, Iron Madien, John Lennon, Cream, Bad Company, Pearl Jam, Grateful Dead, The Byrds, Black Sabbath, Michelle Branch, Venessa Carlton, ACDC, Blue Oyster Cult, LL Cool J, Spoon, The Shins, Usher, Eminem, Jewel, Orange Range, Big Machine BZs, Ramazotti, Phish, Nirvana, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Dave Matthews Band, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Peter Gabriel, Moulin Rouge Soudtrack, Maroon 5, The Beatles, The Strokes, The Rolling Stones, Weezer, Jimmy Eat World, Rush, Beethoven, Mozart, some Bach, Hookah, Sigur Ros, Anti-Flag...eh I can't think of the rest right now
And some localish bands: General Noreaga (they broke up), Orphean Son (bastards broke up too) Victims of Romance, Punchline, Unsung Zeros, Black Rose Diary, Too Short Notice, and Spooner (because Frog Tree Gorge Band broke up too and formed Spooner which now is broken up too haha) Westbound Train, Copeland

Your Stripper Song Is
Closer by Nine Inch Nails

"You let me violate you, you let me desecrate you
You let me penetrate you, you let me complicate you
Help me I broke apart my insides, help me I?ve got no
Soul to tell"

When you dance, it's a little scary - and a lot sexy. What Song Should You Strip To? ^^^that is great- I really like that song and this makes me laugh so hard! It makes me think of Chrispy for those of you that know- we would blast that song so loud while driving!^^^
My Theme Song:
Unsung Zeros ~ Follow the Leader
*She walks down the sidewalk wondering*Lost in thought as the cars they pass her by*Wondering whose life this is and why*All of the friends she had moved on*To things she cannot quite understand*They're so happy following tradition*And she just can't*
CHORUS:
*Lungs are breathing, Heart is pumping*This means she's alive but they say*Something's wrong with her feeling this way*
*Flip frame to five years from now and see*Those same people following her lead*Hoping what she has is now what they all need*When she looks at them now she just smiles*As mis-led souls travel untold miles*When if they just followed their hearts they could be*Content for the rest of their trials*
CHORUS
*Can you feel it, can you feel it*Can you feel it, can you feel it*Can you feel it, can you feel, feel it*Can you feel anything, can you feel anything at all*

Movies:

any movie that makes you think, and movies full of suspense and lots of action. Donnie Darko, American Beauty, Big Lebowski, Princess Bride, Forest Gump, Braveheart, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, The Goonies! There are more

Television:

Books:

i read alot. i read just about anything. though i think i like modernist novels the best. like Brave New World, 1984 and what not. i do have a good political book and some good poetry books. I like historical and psychology books too. i dunno like Harry Potter's good too. what ever really.
