About Me

Flint Music Coalition is founded by Colleen of Reckless Entertainment and Dave of Blackstain Productions. Our purpose is to have all the local bands, management, promoters, venues, graphic designers, merchandising, and photographers together as one big extended family.
Everyone within the local music community is connected to each other one way or another by members, fans, friends or venues. We all make the same sacrifices to do something we love. So think of this as another way to support each other. Think of this as a place to get together and stay connected. We can all help each other out by posting flyers for upcoming shows here on the site and also dates on the calendar, help each other out when you need a band to cover a slot, etc. We can even post your mp3s and links to your websites here to help you promote your myspace. We are also doing music reviews to help with press kits. We will be adding another player for everyone to have a song on this page

Publik Parking in our book, is one of the most premier female fronted bands around. They are definitely an high energy group. Their songs are very structured and maintain consistency. Publik Parking's stage presence is phenomenal! They definitely command the audience! We see great things for this band.

Pounddrive
Pounddrive has been rolling in the local music trenches for quite a few years and has gone through alot of changes. But this writer feels that now the mix is complete with their lineup. Their recordings do not give the full representation of the band as a whole. You have to see these guys live. Very high energy and tons of dedication. They are fun watch and will definitely keep your attention. Their originals are very well structured, the changes are smooth and the way the songs are presented is great. Pounddrive is destined to rock you for a long time to come.
