MY PHILOSOPHY HAS ALWAYS BEEN: "Sweeter than wine, ripened with age." I believe in the saying, "With age comes wisdom" and a lot of aches and pains. But who cares? Either you have to move it or you'll lose it. I have always been a thrill seeker and love trying new things. Life comes at you as fast as you want it to, so go with it and be adventurous. Don't leave a youthful corpse. My quote: "Life sometimes throws us curve balls and hits us below the belt, and some hit us right between the eyes and wake us the hell up."
There is so much more to a person than the outer shell. A college degree and money are nice. I have the degree, but I would rather be buying spices in Morocco than buying expensive clothes. And looks: Well, they fade with time so you better be smart. I tend to be drawn to people who are wise, kindhearted, creative, forgiving, humorous and those who have patience. Without the latter, I could not be striving to be my best in artistic endeavors. I also think spending time in the military and studying martial arts has taught me patience, humility and teamwork. Without the help and encouragement of other talented people by my side and God watching over me, this artistic challenge would not be as much fun. I love all the art venues, and I have been lucky to have been part of a large group of people who are creative most of my life. I have more than 30 years experience as a Thespian (including stage management, working as an asst. director, and experimenting with hair and makeup). My interests also extend to radio & voice-over work, film (especially local indies, bringing culture to our community), writing, graphic arts, meeting new people in the arts industry and enjoying my adorable pet.
