Hey, we're new here! So cut us some slack, eh? Just cause there's not a lot on this page, doesn't mean there's not a lot going on at Burlap and Bean.
But for the meantime, we'll stick to the basics:
The Open Mic is every Thursday evening. Sign ups start at 7:00ish. Show starts at 7:30ish. Kyle Swartzwelder will be your host. We think he's an alright guy.
Chances are, if you play music, we like you. So don't hesitate to come out to share your skills with us. All genres of music are welcomed! Bands are also welcomed!
Here's what to expect: All performers are treated equally! You'll each get 15 minutes or 3 songs MINIMUM. If it's a slow night, it could be more. If it's a busy night, well then, we'll just keep going until everyone's played their 3 tunes. We're just THAT cool!
Oh yeah, and at some point in the future, we'll be adding a featured performer slot. A 30 minute or 6 song slot. If you're interested, just send us a message, we'll chat.
That's all for now, we'll fill in the blanks later.
