I am originally from Virginia, (hence the y'all that you'll hear every now and then) but I moved to Nebraska with my family almost three years ago. I am a musician and songwriter; I play the piano, violin and viola, and I write worship choruses and Contemporary Christian music. In my Junior year of highschool, God totally rocked my world and called me to lead His people in worship. I am classic example of the saying, "God doesn't call the equipped, He equips the called". I really had no idea what I was doing the first time that I got up in front of a congregation to lead them in worship; in fact, I'm still not sure sometimes if I know what I'm doing week after week. Yet, even in my weakness, HIS strength is made complete and perfect. I am just a little girl from a small town who said, "yes, Lord; I'll go where you send me". I often laugh at the irony of God's ways. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to live a life in full-time ministry. In fact, I really wanted to be a missionary when I was little. I've grown up saying, "Lord, send me where ever you want me to go! I'll go to Africa, China, South America, Russia... just tell me where and I'll go..." And God sent me to Omaha Nebraska! Yeah, God totally cracks me up! I love it here. I am currently the Director of music and worship at a small church in Papillion, and God has just opened up doors for ministry opportunities like never before. I am nothing without Him, and why He would choose me I have no idea. I am still amazed, still humbled, and ever in awe of His grace. Wow."Don't be afraid of death; be afraid of an unlived life."
