About Me

"THE PAINTER OF DREAMS"
"NAVAJO KACHINAS DIGITAL DESIGNS" .. "DIGITAL DESIGNS" ..
"Painter of Dreams"
I was born in Guantanamo, Cuba and for many years I lived in Mexico and Miami, Florida. But, I now reside in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. I am a painter, a musician and a singer/songwriter. I paint those images I see in my Dreams/Astral Travels. Also, the inspiration for the words and music in my songs, comes from my Dreams from the Spirit and from the Love I feel for my wife Debbie.
Since 1974 I've being studying Toltec Teachings, and in the past, I'd participated in the "Mastery of Awareness" Internet course conducted by Kristopher Raphael. Also, I have participated in several Toltec spiritual seminars with Mexican Toltec teacher Victor Sanchez who follows the teachings of the Nagual Don Juan Matus, as described in the works of the anthropologist Carlos Castaneda.
In the year 2000 while attending a seminar in awareness in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, I'd met the Spirit of a Cherokee Indian by the name of “Bear Paw”. Bear Paw told me that he was going to show me what to paint. To just open myself to his guiding and that he will guide my hands directing and showing me what to paint. Under his direction I created over 350 paintings that year.
After a visit to some Maya ruins, in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico, I stated painting "The Maya Sacred Measurements", their story is as follows:
“THE MAYA SACRED MEASUREMENTS”
“THE HOUSE OF FLOWERS”When the arqueologies and surveyors started examining the ruin of Palenque, located in Southern Mexico, and built by their king Pacal, they discovered that they couldn’t pinpoint what the Maya engineers and builders used as measurements to built their pymanids and temples. It was not inches or centimeters or any other unit of measure know to the civilized world.
One of the scientists doing research spent some time talking to an old man known around those parts as a Shaman. The Shaman kept repeating: “The flowers are in our homes.” “The flowers are in our homes.”
After months of studies and research they discover that the Maya used four circles to create a square and they use these squares as their unit of measurement. The joining of the four circles automatically creates a flower.
The following is an example of these designs:
"MAYA PAINTINGS"
In the year 2004 and 2005 I'd exhibited, these and other paintings, at “Art Fusion Galleries” located in the Designer District in Miami, Florida.
