About Me

I write action-packed fantasy romances for Kensington's Aphrodisia line, and my titles include NIGHT SPELL, MOON SHADOW, THE SUPPLICANT, EROS ISLAND, SHE and RUNNING WILD. Next year, look for WHAT SHE WANTS and THE SUPPLICANT'S HAND. I write romance because I love exploring the internal battle strong women face when they fall in love--and my heroes always make yielding worth the trouble. I've won numerous writing awards, including the prestigious Gayle Wilson Award for Excellence in Writing, the Reviewer's Choice Award at Road to Romance, the Fallen Angels Reviewer's Choice Award, and a Coffee Times Romance Recommended Read. I was also a 2006 PEARL finalist in the Best Debut Author category. Like all romance writers, I live in a wind-swept castle with my handsome prince. We help each other battle ferocious dragons when not out surveying the Amazonian rainforests or the plains of East Africa. You can read excerpts and reviews on the web at www.LucindaBetts.com
