Originally from Havana, Cuba, Ernesto was trained at the National School of Arts ('ENA') in violin and played in the National Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra of the world-famous Tropicana night club until he came to London eight years ago.Although classically trained, Ernesto was always passionate about the different musical styles emerging on the Cuban popular music scene and music from the US, and the rest of the world - soul, funk, hip-hop and reggae. He is best known among friends and colleagues for his incredible musicality and the beauty of his improvisations.Past projects fall into the genres of funk, hip-hop, salsa / timba, reggae / ska, reggaeton, urban, Latin jazz, Afro Cuban, traditional south American, Latin pop.
