DJ Robain bought his first 'all-in-one' mix set at the young age of 13.
He started to try things out with his mixer and soon he discovered beatmixing.
Later, he learned to play vinyl and soon he bought his own turntabels. After some months of intensive practise, he was asked for some small local party's.
Later on he discovered what music he really likes: Tek, with some jumpstyle & techno influences.
He met DJ Obscura and this DJ showed him the first steps into the 'DJ-world'.
He went together with Obscura to a local club called 'Explosive'. There he got the chance to play there a couple of times as guest DJ, but after some time he was asked to become a resident DJ. Robain had a great time over there together with the other residents SnC & Shorty, where he gained lots of 'live-experience'.
In the meantime DJ Obscura was a Topradio resident DJ, where he got his own radio program called 'After Going Out', every sundayevening.
Obscura got Robain in a couple times as a guest DJ. After that, everything started to roll, slowly. He was more and more asked to play in different clubs/party's/events, met new interesting people, discovered new styles,... but this is not the end.
Robain still loves entertaining the crowd, but he felt like there was something missing... That's right, making your own kind of music! So he bought some software and started to try things out. Later he met NG-Tek, and these 2 youngsters decided to work together on tracks. They still form a duo now, producing together and having fun.
Robain keeps on spinning/producing, and we'll see what the future brings for this upcoming young talent.
